Institute of Comparative Law

Library of the Institute contains over 23.000 of books, and through exchanges and other ways the library was receving more than 200 periodicals. Thanks to all those caracteristics, this library is one of the largest law libraries in the country.

    All the fields of the law are represented: theory and philosophy of law, international public and private law, comparative law, civil law in all its segments ( property law, law of contracts and torts, family law, hereditary law, commercial law, maritime law, air law, labour law) and civil court procedure, constitutional and administrative law, the social protection and insurance.

    Beside law literature, mostly foreignes, there is an important number of books from other fields closed to law sciences: sociology, politicology, political economy, public financies, culture, education, religion, etc.

    Library has numerous lexicons, encyclopedia, dictionaries and other handbook manuals.

    In addition to books, the library also receives science and professional periodicals, mostly from abroad.

It has complete documentation for: Germany, France, Belgium, Macedonia and Slovenia. Serbian Official gazettes are accessible in the library and documentation center in electronic form (Internet, CD).
